Year End Quiz Bowl

I am working on putting together a three day year end quiz bowl for grades 7 and 8. The general idea is to have all subject areas covered with review questions from the year, as well as fun categories, and maybe some physical challenges. We will be working with a block of three hours a day and have decided to break the grade into groups of about five to ensure all are involved. Day one and two would determine the teams that would go into the finally on day three. The championship will be between one 7th grade team and one 8th grade team. I was hoping some of you have something similar you do at your school and would share ideas, suggestions, or warnings. Anything would be great. Thanks!
