The Denver, CO Canadian Consulate staff who work with K-12 teachers has received a request from a Denver middle school IT teacher named Mike Foster:
"I have several teachers who are interested in making connections directly with schools in Canada to collaborate online as well as connecting via videoconferencing so that the children get first-hand opportunities to connect. Our ideas are shared online presentations via GoogleDocs, where kids in both locations can work on the same document and chat online. After they have worked together, it would be great to connect with videoconferencing equipment – several of our schools have this capacity – so the kids could meet “face-to-face” virtually."
Any suggestions to forward to the Denver Consulate for this teacher?
Thanks,
