Hey all.

I have been revamping my APHG class to better fit student prior knowledge and early interest. The first semester examines Chicago and the neighborhood where my school is and the second semester is focused on the world. I am no longer moving chapter by chapter but I see this as a great way to keep revisiting the most important concepts.

I would love feedback if anyone had the time to offer it to help improve it.

Thanks and happy summer to all.

If you would like some resources you might wish to check out @APHumanGeog on Twitter.  A college professor and I tweet current, relevant resources.  Also, there are two FaceBook groups you might find helpful- AP Human Geography Readers and AP Human Geography Teachers.  This Google Doc- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgBJypKWm_1adHBrbzlwZW... has resources we compiled at the AP Human Geography Reading this year.

Hey all. I am collecting AP Human Geography web resources here. I also have more in my diigo account that I plan to curate and organize and make available. Like Joe, I am teaching AP Human Geography for the first time this year. We are already four chapters into Rubenstein (year round school) and I am loving this course!

Hey, I have a different prep for almost every class this year: I will teach Latin 1, 2, 3, AP4 in combined classes, AP HumanGeog, 9th grade Humanities. But more to the point it will be my first year in AP Human Geog and I am looking to collaborate with anyone toward making it a great school-year.

Anyone have an extra current teacher's copy of Rubenstein's Human Geography they want to part with?
