My must-have classroom tool is Google Docs - it has transformed my teaching and it is a great way to put students in charge. Students write, share, post and use Google Docs every day. I also use it for students to work with a class in the Dominican Republic - they work in groups and share research, writing, editing, and then final projects. Students can also email me and I keep in touch with all of them. It is interesting what time of the night I get questions, and projects uploaded. It is am important 21st Century skill to be able to work collaboratively and in this way. I love it.
Hi, I have a website for 21st century learning that has many tools in the resource section. I hope you find it useful. The site is www.zach21.weebly.com One of my recent favorites is an animated data tool called "Gap Minder".
